FREELAND - COPE
Freeland will release Cope, his first artist album in six years, on his own independent label Marine Parade.
It is co-produced by Marine Parade’s latest producer-DJ star Alex Metric (Autokratz, Locarnos, Ladyhawke, Hard-Fi and more)
Like his 2003 solo album debut ‘Now & Them‘ and its uncompromising worldwide smash ‘We Want Your Soul‘, Freeland’s much-anticipated latest traffics in the unexpected-electro beats banging enough to fill dancefloors, yet twisted with sounds and collaborations from uncharted waters.
Freeland has his roots in stark electronic funk but with Cope, be blends dance and rock and roll with absolute ease to please the fans of both crowds.
The album is filled with paranoiac wordplay and skewed political commentary that complements the futuristic yet dissident sonics, and songs almost tip Cope into concept-album territory-except for the fact that it never sits still long enough for any concept to take hold.

Grand Puba - I Like It (1995)
Grand Pubas Karriere im Musikgeschäft begann für ihn als Mitglied der Masters Of Ceremony. Diese veröffentlichten 1988 ihr Album Dynamite, trennten sich jedoch noch im selben Jahr. Grand Puba wurde nun Mitglied und Frontmann von Brand Nubian. Diese Gruppe verließ er jedoch nach derem Debüt von 1990 um eine Solokarriere anzustreben. Als Resultat erschien 1992 das Album Reel To Reel, aus dem seine erfolgreichste Single 360 Degrees (What Goes Around), sowie Check It Out featuring Mary J. Blige ausgekoppelt wurden. 3 Jahre später folgte sein zweites Album 2000, bevor er sich wieder mit Brand Nubian zusammenschloss. Ein weiteres Soloalbum erschien schließlich 2001 mit Understand This.

Champion remixed Champion!
2/3 der Allies psuhen sich hier gegenseitig. Der überaus erfolgreiche A-Trak, der jüngste Battle DJ Champion und das mehrmals, der in den letzten Monaten mit seinem Label Fools Gold und mit diversen eingenveröffentlichungen Weltweit auf sich aufmerksam gemacht hat.
Daneben der einer der Gößten Battle DJ´s aller Zeiten der von seinem Kollegen hier zu einem Remix eingespannt wurde. Gutes ergebniss. Ich denke die beiden haben an dem stück zusammen die Regel im Studio gedreht.
